Very good food and very nice people. I am somewhat handicapped.So I called by orderi in ahead of time and they were kind enough to bring it out to the parking lot for me.
The service was fast and servers were nice. Had a torta and a carnitas taco. Would come again.
I ordered a pollo combination plate from here and it was good, no complaints. The service was good as well. This Platas is definitely my favorite out of all the ones in the high desert.
This place is good. They have 3 locations in town. The one on the old road is the best and freshest. Always friendly
The ambiance is lacking but the people and the food was fantastic. I have eaten here several times with my girlfriend and we were impressed each time we ate there.
Getting there: Take the N 1st Ave exit, onto Irwin Rd. I don't remember all too well, but I believe the parking lot is small. Experience: A friend of mine who lived in Barstow insisted that we stopped here on a road trip and I am so glad we did. This is definitely a gem of this city. If you live in the area or are passing through and looking for authentic Mexican food, consider stopping here. Their food is fresh and their portions are huge. I remember I ordered a carne asada quesadilla, man I wish I could eat one of those daily. You just have to experience it for yourself.
